The Scenic Hut "Maisemakammi" is built into the hillside above Lake Pitkäjärvi – a turf-roofed nest of stone and open fire, entered through a bid-nest like entrance, whose round opening frames the lake. A space of quiet mystery, waiting for a supernatural kitchen.

That kitchen belongs on July 18 to Sami Tallberg, an awarded chef and messenger of wild food who treats nature not as scenery but as raw material. For him nothing exists in isolation – every mushroom, herb and fish is part of one living web, carried to the table. On a July evening that means the fleeting harvest of the season, finished over open fire. Four courses, one table, one evening.

Cancellation Policy

Seats are limited, and the dinner is prepared according to the number of participants.

A reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days prior to the dinner date.

For cancellations made 7–13 days before the dinner, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.

For cancellations made less than 7 days before the dinner, or in case of non-attendance (no show), no refund will be issued.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Changes by the Organiser

If the dinner is cancelled by the organiser, the full amount paid will be refunded.

If the dinner is rescheduled to a new date, the reservation will remain valid for the new date. If the new date is not suitable, the payment will be refunded in full.
